Not only did it make swimming with my babies much easier and more enjoyable, but also safer.
I’m so glad that I brought my mom along on our first time out to the pool because she was able to help keep both babies secure while they learned how to swim. She assisted me in helping them adjust to their new environment by playing games like peekaboo underwater and helping them get used to having their faces in the water.
Wait For Swim Diapers Until You Arrive
As a mother of twins, I know how challenging it can be to get out of the house. When it comes time for swimming lessons, I’ve found that it’s best to wait until you arrive to put on the swim diapers. This is because you never know when one of your little ones decides they need a diaper change or an unexpected accident happens in their clothes – both of which can happen quite often with twins!
I always make sure that I have the swim diapers in my bag, but waiting until we are at our destination has made life much easier. That way I don’t have two kids running around in wet clothing prior to getting into the pool, and it also eliminates having to deal with any messes while out and about.

Stay Within An Arm’s Reach
As a parent of twins, I never imagined the immense responsibility that came with it. For example, I had to stay within arm’s reach when my two little ones were swimming. Every 20 seconds I had to check in on them and make sure they were safe as they played in the water.
